About Us

ICTV offers a unique experience to the people of Ipswich, involving them in their own television Channel. As well as watching the programmes the community can get involved and create or contribute to the content.
Ipswich Local Television will provide work-based training in media and ICT for Volunteers and the general public. This will help us achieve the aims listed below:

improve employment possibilities and increase diversity in the media.
produce high quality local programs and publish them on the website.
be on the forefront of emerging digital technology.
run innovation and creativity communication skill base courses for those on the margin of society.
open up access to recreational activities for the general public.

The unique aspect of ICTV is being able to function not only as a training outlet but also to air local content made by the public. It is also a good opportunity to promote events and raise awareness of current issues in the community.
